Apple iPhone 4 Antenna Issues
Posted in Known Issues on 15. Oct, 2010
When the Apple iPhone 4 was released, everyone thought it was going to be one of the best iPhones ever. They were right, as it is a leader in almost everything it does. But, there was one small issue with one of the features, especially for left handed users…
One of the new features of the iPhone 4 was the fact that the casing was actually the antenna. Previous models had a separate antenna, but the steel casing on the back of the iPhone 4 was going to serve that purpose. But, when some people put their hand over it when making a call, some calls were dropped and connection problems occurred. This was especially common with left handed users, as the antenna was directly affected when people used their left hand to hold the phone.
Now, since this is an all new iPhone, some problems were expected. But, it seems as though this was the only problem people have experienced so far, and they have far overblown it. While Apple is very slow to admit fault, there is no doubt that they will find a way to take care of this issue.
Besides the reported antenna issues, everything else on the new iPhone 4 seems to be working as promised, and they are being sold out almost everywhere they are sold. Availability is a huge issue, and if you are lucky enough to get your hands on one, you will see how great of a phone it really is.
